30 minutes in decimal is 0.5 hours. Formula: 30 ÷ 60 = 0.5. So 30 minutes on a timesheet is entered as 0.5 hours.
45 minutes as a decimal is 0.75 hours. Formula: 45 ÷ 60 = 0.75. On a timesheet, 45 minutes is entered as 0.75.
