CBM (Cubic Meter) Shipping Mathematics

CBM calculator computes cubic meters (CBM) and volumetric weight for shipping cartons and freight from box dimensions.

Standardized Mathematical Formula
CBM = (L × W × H in cm ÷ 1,000,000) × Quantity | Volumetric Weight (kg) = (L×W×H ÷ 5,000) × Quantity

CBM converts a carton's dimensions (in centimeters) into cubic meters by dividing by 1,000,000 (cm³ per m³), then multiplies by the number of identical cartons. Volumetric (dimensional) weight uses a standard air-freight divisor to estimate the "chargeable weight" freight carriers bill for bulky-but-light shipments.
