3D print filament calculator computes filament weight and print cost from filament length, diameter, and material density.

Standardized Mathematical Formula
Weight (g) = π × (Diameter/2)² × Length × Density

Filament is a cylinder, so its volume follows the standard cylinder volume formula (π r² × length). Multiplying that volume by the material's density gives its weight, and multiplying weight by the price per kilogram gives the print cost.
